Badbury Flower Company is our contribution to the resurgence of home-grown flowers in the UK, combined with the aim to help others reconnect with nature through the joy of gardening.
Years of importing flowers has decimated the home industry and dulled the nation’s senses to the amazing, scented and delicate blooms that come from our own soil. It was this realization that set us on the path to converting part of a two acre paddock into a flower farm.
The plot adjoining our 15th century thatched cottage is surrounded by the beautiful Somerset countryside. We grow scented, garden flowers in a sustainable way, nurturing from seed to bloom. We complement the cultivated with the best that nature has to offer and make the most of the natural resources around us.
We work with the seasons as they gently push us on from Spring bulbs to breezy Summer bouquets, rich Autumnal sunflowers and dahlias through to handmade Somerset willow wreaths decorated with foliage and seed pods, evergreen Christmas wreaths and lush garlands.
We use the land to its full potential, work in harmony with nature, grow traditional and unusual flowers, harvest armfuls of homegrown colour and scent. We bring the delight of homegrown, scented flowers to everyone, whether they're planning a fabulous wedding or simply grabbing a bunch as they pass our garden gate.

John, with boundless energy when it comes to planning, building and fixing, whether it's new raised beds, a bigger greenhouse or the autumnal task of feeding the ground.
... and everything happens under the very watchful eyes of our lovely dog, Blue, and his pal, Henry.
